Anna Kolodziejska - "Die tapferen Zehn"

Die dritte Einzelausstellung von Anna Kolodziejska in der Galerie Bernd Kugler trägt den Titel „Die tapferen Zehn“. Die Künstlerin hat für diese Ausstellung ihren Arbeitsprozess gewissermaßen „umgekrempelt“. Die Verpackungskisten entstanden zuerst, die Objekte und Skulpturen mussten sich ihren Platz darin noch erobern. Dabei fungieren die Kisten weder als reine Behälter, noch sind die Objekte und Skulpturen eine Füllung dieser. Vielmehr entstanden dabei Arbeiten, die zu einer Einheit verschmolzen, sich mit Poesie und Leichtigkeit zwischen Skulptur, Objekten und Zeichnung bewegen. Das surreale, die Strenge der Minimalart, das Nachdenken über Leere und Raum, all das hat reichlich Platz in den Sperrholzkisten gefunden.

The third individual exhibition by Anna Kolodziejska in the Galerie Bernd Kugler bears the title “Die tapferen Zehn” (The courageous ten). For this exhibition, the artist has in a sense turned her work process “inside out”. The packing boxes were created first and the objects and sculptures must then capture their place inside them. In doing this, the boxes do not function as just a container and the objects and sculptures are not just the filling for them. Instead, pieces were created that became one unit shifting between sculpture, objects, and drawings with poetry and ease. The surrealism, the severity of minimal art, and the consideration of emptiness and space all found plenty of room in the plywood boxes.
